A big thanks to all of you who came and hope you enjoyed it and most importantly were inspired to get sewing!
That Quilter
That Quilter Donna Warnement will be here the 3rd Tuesday January 15 from 10 – noon. Donna is coming the 3rd Tuesday instead of the 1st Tuesday. Please put her and her family in your prayers as her daughter had a medical emergency. Come bring your tops for quilting or pick one up that’s been quilted. Come for show and tell, you will be inspired seeing all the quilts!
Upcoming Classes
We have added a new class called County Lines, what a great way to start the New Year with a fun quilt. The quilt would look great in some of the new Bluebonnet or Valentines fabrics. It only takes 6 fat ¼’s plus the sashing and border fabric, and it is so easy! Not only that, Lorrie Sanwald is a wonderful teacher! There are 4 spaces left!
Another new class is 30’s Basket Quilt where you will learn to make a basket block without any diamonds or Y seams. Great for the confident beginner or intermediate quilter. The class dates are Jan. 29th and Feb. 12, 2008, taught by Marilyn Boismier. If you haven’t taken a class with Marilyn, you need to! You will learn much more than just the particular quilt design!
The third new class is Itty Bitty Broken Star Quilt class. This one is conducted in two night classes Feb. 21 and March 6, 2008. If you can cut accurately and sew on a drawn line you will succeed making this quilt. Taught by Marilyn Boismier.
We have listed another One Block Wonder class for Feb. 2 & 3, with 1 space left.
Check the classes page on the web site, as we will be adding more classes! We are so blessed to have great teachers! You not only learn specific techniques but also learn many tips and make new friends that can last a lifetime. And it's just good fun!
