January 2007 is upon us! We want to thank our customers for a wonderful 2006. Looking back over the year, we have realized what tremendous customers we have. You have all been an inspiration and a blessing we never anticipated! In 2007 we look forward to make SunFlower Quilts your shop and provide you with products and services you want and deserve!
Quilting Class Schedule
The winter class schedule will be available January 15th.
One Yard Hugs
We received 217 One Yard Hugs! They were donated to preemie babies in local hospital Neo-natal units. Thanks to all who made the hugs. We could not have done it without you! Remember: Your One Yard Hug coupons expire 12/31/06!
Log Cabin Block of the Month
The Log Cabin Block of the Month kits will be available January 15th. We are working on some new kits for 2007. More information will be coming soon, so stay tuned!
New Turning 20 Book
It's here, the new Turning 20 Book, the third in a series called "Turning 20 Around the Block". What an easy way to use focus fabrics, appliqué or embroidered blocks. You could even use photos! Come in to check out the book and get some ideas for your next project. We have many other titles as well, some are listed on our Books page of our web site.
Thimbleberries Club
The first meeting of Thimbleberries Club 2007 will be Friday January 12th or Sunday January 14th. We have info about the Thimbleberries Club for next year. Go to the Block of the Month page on our web site or give us a call and see what the quilt looks like. We would love for you to join the Thimbleberries Club 2007, we have a fun time!
Quilt Pink Update
The quilts are coming in. We have received 28 quilts back. They look great! Some are hand quilted and some are machine quilted. We have the best customers! As we receive the quilts back, we will hang them in the shop, so come by and see how wonderful they are! On January 20th, we will have an airing of the quilts before we send them off. Come by and see all the beautiful quilts you made! Remember all Quilt Pink quilts need to be returned by January 15th!
New Fabrics
We have been getting in some new fabrics, they are: Moda's Bluebonnet fabrics. New fabrics from Clothworks; Lil' Monsters: New Fabrics from RJR; Little Pretties, some cute small print calicos: Cowboys and Cowgirls.
Baby/Toddler Quilt Patterns
We have some cute baby/toddler quilt patterns for boys and girls! This pattern is so fast it takes about 1 hour to put the top together after the fabric is cut. I am not kidding. The kits are $44.99.
Idea Saturday
Idea Saturday is the 3rd Saturday, January 20th at 9am sharp. Come by for some ideas and receive a free project sheet of each idea. There will be refreshments. Bring a friend, it's a fun morning.
That Quilter
"That Quilter" Donna Warnament will be here the 2nd Tuesday, January 9th from 10am - noon. Bring your tops for quilting or pick up one from last month. Donna does beautiful work!
Moda U Postcard Mystery Quilt Club
The Moda U Postcard Mystery Quilt Club will meet the last Saturday, December 30th, from 4-5pm. The blocks are $8.00 per month. Call us for more details. It's not too late to join! January's meeting will be the last Saturday of the month, January 27th from 4-5pm.
Holiday Schedule
We will be closed Monday January 1st for New Year's holiday.
