Jingle Bell Shop Hop
Remember to mark your calendars for the 1st weekend in Dec. for the 1st annual Jingle Bell Shop Hop. Go to http://www.wildwildwestshophop.com or come by the shop for more info.
Participating shops include:
- SunFlower Quilts, Houston
- Quilter's Emporium, Sugar Land
- My First Stitch, Rosenberg
- Scissortail Quilts, Lake Jackson
- Cactus Quilts, Texas City
- Plain & Fancy, The Woodlands
- TC's Fabrication Unlimited, League City
Hosted by the participating quilt shops in the Houston area, shop hop participants receive a free passport at the first shop they visit. When they travel from shop to shop, they have their passport stamped. Once completed, passports become a ticket for entry to a drawing for prizes. Eligible passports must have the participant's name, address, phone number and email address (if available). Each card must be punched/stamped from each participating quilt shop. When you have visited all the stores, turn in your entry at the last shop so that it can be included in the drawing. The prize drawing will take place after the shop hop in the presence of all the participating shop owners. Winners will be posted on the Shop Hop website.
Thimbleberries Club News
I’d like to announce we will be doing the Thimbleberries Club again in 2006. The theme for next year is Vintage Stitches. The back of the quilt is pieced as well as the front. I saw the quilt at market and it is stunning! I will have all the details ready by early Nov. Come by the shop to see a photo of the quilt. This is a very special club to me and I am looking forward to next year, I know it will be better than last years!
Idea Saturday -- SunFlower Quilts Exclusive
On Saturday Nov. 19th at 9am sharp we will have an “Idea Saturday”. We’ll have several ideas for quick easy Christmas gifts and will last about 30 min. Refreshments and free project sheets will be waiting for you to get you motivated, hope you can come! We will start doing these special “Idea Saturdays” quarterly. We’re very excited about it.

Other News
“That Quilter” Donna will be here on the 2nd Tues. Nov. 8th (this month only) from 10am – noon to pick up your tops for quilting.
The 1st Tues. will continue as normal in Dec. Nov. 8th will also be the last date to bring your quilt tops in for a guaranteed Christmas delivery.
We have a few Christmas quilt kits left but they are going fast. There are 2 Christmas quilts to choose from. The Christmas, Reproduction and Thangles BOM are ready.
We have gotten in lots of new fabric, books, notions and patterns.
